MY STORY

So I’m Rachel, I was born and raised in the heart of the South, Atlanta, Georgia. In 2021 I relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah which is where I currently take residence when I’m not road-tripping to new places in search of vast mountain ranges, cozy coffee shops, or deserts that span for miles.

Here’s what happened:

In college, I had a miserable relationship with my body and it left me frustrated, depressed, and hopeless. Periods were disastrous, my libido went missing, (newly developed) anxiety became debilitating, and UTIs showed up more often than my paychecks. These issues left me completely helpless, my self-esteem destroyed, and my quality of life was in the garbage.

I tried A LOT of medicines, doctors, and “quick fixes” all in search of some relief from my symptoms. Sure the therapy helped, the birth control regulated my flow, and cranberry juice offered (a little) relief but it wasn’t enough.

After years of suffering, I finally had enough. I had to find something that actually worked… my sanity depended on it.

I put in hours upon hours of research on the most obscure health conditions to educate myself on how to optimize my chances of healing without a reliance on medications, birth control, or other “bandaids.” Once I did intense research, hired a wonderful Health Coach, and stumbled through A LOT of trial and error, I found the root causes of my health issues and healed them. I totally transformed my diet, exercise routine, and most importantly my lifestyle.

With this newfound knowledge, I decided to pursue my passion by helping women who find themselves going through complicated health journeys.

As for my formal education:

  • Board Certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

  • BS in Psychology from Kennesaw State University

  • Health Coaching Certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN)

  • Health Coaching Intensive Practicum 2.0 through IIN

  • 3+ years experience in women's health, weight loss, and functional medicine coaching.

So that’s what lead me here to help YOU. I want to be the one to support you through this incredibly challenging and emotional journey that is reclaiming your health.

Areas of Practice

  • Hair loss, cold hands/feet, weight gain, chronic fatigue, dry skin, brain fog, nervousness, anxiety, and heart flutters could be signs of a thyroid issue. Even if you are on a thyroid medication you are still at risk of developing these symptoms. Most MDs only test TSH levels which is NOT the full picture. Let’s take a functional approach to boost and enhance thyroid function.

  • Bloating, gas, food sensitivities, IBS, acid reflux, painful digestion, constipation, loose stool, I’ve heard it all. Let’s take a deeper look at what bacteria, parasites, fungi, or viruses that could be lurking in your GI system and get things back into balance to achieve symptomless eating.
